It's a romantic full moon

| It's a romantic full moon, when Pedro said, "Hey, mamacita, let's do Weeweechu." Oh no, not now, let's look at the moon!" said Rosita. Oh, c'mon baby, let's you and I do Weeweechu. I love you and it's the perfect time," Pedro begged. "But I wanna just hold your hand and watch the moon." replied Rosita. Please, corazoncito, just once, do Weeweechu with me." Rosita looked at Pedro and said, "OK, one time, we'll do Weeweechu." Pedro grabbed his guitar and they both sang..... "Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year." MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!! |
WHERE DID IT GO??
Watchout for this Snowman!!!
A Christmas Story
He cussed out the elves and threw down his list.
Miserable little brats, ungrateful little jerks.
I have a good mind to scrap the whole works!
I've busted my ass for damn near a year,
Instead of 'Thanks Santa'--what do I hear?
The old lady bitches cause I work late at night.
The elves want more money--The reindeer all fight.
Rudolph got drunk and goosed all the maids.
Donner is pregnant and Vixen has AIDS.
And just when I thought that things would get better
Those assholes from the IRS sent me a letter,
They say I owe taxes--if that ain't damn funny
Who the hell ever sent Santa Claus any money?
And the kids these days--they all are the pits
They want the impossible--Those mean little shits
I spent a whole year making wagons and sleds
Assembling dolls...Their arms, legs and heads
I made a ton of yo yo's--No request for them,
They want computers and robots...they think - I'm IBM!
Flying through the air...dodging the trees
Falling down chimneys and skinning my knees
I'm quitting this job there's just no enjoyment
I'll sit on my fat ass and draw unemployment.
There's No Christmas this year now you know the reason,
I found me a blonde. I'm going SOUTH for the season
Merry Christmas
'Twas the night before Christmas & out on the ranch
The pond was froze over & so was the branch.
The snow was piled up belly-deep to a mule.
The kids were all home on vacation from school,
And happier young folks you never did see-
Just all sprawled around a-watchin' TV.
Then suddenly, some time around 8 o'clock,
There came a surprise that gave them a shock!
The power went off, the TV went dead!
When Grandpa came in from out in the shed
With an armload of wood, the house was all dark.
"Just what I expected," they heard him remark.
"Them power line wires must be down from the snow.
Seems sorter like times on the ranch long ago."
"I'll hunt up some candles," said Mom. "With their light,
And the fireplace, I reckon we'll make out all right."
The teen-agers all seemed enveloped in gloom.
Then Grandpa came back from a trip to his room,
Uncased his old fiddle & started to play
That old Christmas song about bells on a sleigh.
Mom started to sing, & 1st thing they knew
Both Pop & the kids were all singing it, too.
They sang Christmas carols, they sang "Holy Night,"
Their eyes all a-shine in the ruddy firelight.
They played some charades Mom recalled from her youth,
And Pop read a passage from God's Book of Truth.
They stayed up till midnight-and, would you believe,
The youngsters agreed 'twas a fine Christmas Eve.
Grandpa rose early, some time before dawn;
And when the kids wakened, the power was on..
"The power company sure got the line repaired quick,"
Said Grandpa - & no one suspected his trick.
Last night, for the sake of some old-fashioned fun,
He had pulled the main switch - the old Son-of-a-Gun!

HOLIDAY EATING TIPS
1.
> Avoid carrot sticks. Anyone who puts carrots on a holiday buffet table
> knows nothing of the Holiday spirit. In fact, if you see
> carrots, leave immediately. Go next door, where they're
> serving rum balls.
>
> 2.
> Drink as much eggnog as you can. And quickly. It's
> rare.. You cannot find it any other time of year but now. So
> drink up! Who cares that it has 10,000 calories in every
> sip? It's not as if you're going to turn into an
> eggnog-alcoholic or something. It's a treat. Enjoy it.
> Have one for me. Have two. It's later than you think.
> It's Christmas!
>
> 3.
> If something comes with gravy, use it. That's the whole
> point of gravy. Gravy does not stand alone. Pour it on. Make
> a volcano out of your mashed potatoes. Fill it with gravy.
> Eat the volcano. Repeat.
>
> 4.
> As for mashed potatoes, always ask if they're made with
> skim milk or whole milk. If it's skim, pass. Why bother?
> It's like buying a sports car with an automatic
> transmission.
>
> 5.
> Do not have a snack before going to a party in an effort to
> control your eating. The whole point of going to a Holiday
> party is to eat other people's food for free. Lots of
> it. Hello?
>
> 6.
> Under no circumstances should you exercise between now and
> New Year's. You can do that in January when you have
> nothing else to do. This is the time for long naps, which
> you'll need after circling the buffet table while
> carrying a 10-pound plate of food and that vat of eggnog.
>
>
> 7.
> If you come across something really good at a buffet table,
> like frosted Christmas cookies in the shape and size of
> Santa, position yourself near them and don't budge. Have
> as many as you can before becoming the center of attention.
> They're like a beautiful pair of shoes. If you leave
> them behind, you're never going to see them again.
>
>
> 8.
> Same for pies. Apple,
> Pumpkin, Mincemeat.
> Have a slice of each. Or if you don't like mincemeat,
> have two apples and one pumpkin. Always have three. When
> else do you get to have more than one dessert?
> Labor
> Day?
>
>
> 9.
> Did someone mention fruitcake? Granted, it's loaded with
> the mandatory celebratory calories, but avoid it at all
> cost. I mean, have some standards.
>
>
> 10. One final tip: If you don't feel
> terrible when you leave the party or get up from the table,
> you haven't been paying attention. Re-read tips; start
> over, but hurry, January is just around the corner. Remember
> this motto to live by:
>
> "Life should NOT be a journey to the
> grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive
> and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways,
> chocolate and wine in one hand, body thoroughly used up,
> totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a
> ride!"
>
> Have a great
> holiday
> season!!

Santa's puzzle
MERRY CHRISTMAS
When you finish putting it together,
watch what happens.
A doggy Christmas surprise
A Christmas Story - From Bill H.
At this hectic time of the year it is very easy to get caught up in tasks: our work, travel, shopping, etc and sometimes we forget what it is all about. All you need to do is read the following story to remember what is really important : friends, family, God and country.
Merry Christmas and may God bless. .
Bill
Team-
As I sat in the lovely Detroit Airport yesterday recouping from 2 days with Dave and Mark, I saw a great example of what Christmas is all about. I was standing in a very crowded waiting area while my delayed plane was finally arriving. Everyone was crowding and shuffling to get a position in the cattle stampede when it happened. The passengers began to come off the plane FINALLY, and a wounded soldier in uniform coming back from fighting for our country, departed the plane and the restless, frustrated, angry crowd all of a sudden, transformed themselves into a family type group welcoming a loved one home. We all stood up and applauded, totally impromptu, for about 2 minutes. The soldier was weeping under his sunglasses and tears streamed down his face. His family ran to the front of the waiting area, his wife and 2 kids and they jumped in his arms and embraced. He turned to all of us and said he was so thankful to fight for such a great country and be home after 2 years and he yelled MERRY CHRISTMAS and God Bless America!!!
I will never forget it. I am sorry for the emotional email, but I thought who better to share it with than you!
Please be safe today and listen for the ringing of the bell, because it will always be there for those who truly BELIEVE!!!!!

Pottery Barn Kids will close its Easton Town Center location in January, leaving its store at Polaris Fashion Place as its only location in the Columbus area.
District manager Jeanne Dahlen said today that the closing was a "business decision" on the part of San Francisco-based parent company Williams-Sonoma, which also operates Williams-Sonoma and Pottery Barn stores at Easton, Polaris and elsewhere.
She said the store has started a closing sale, and will close for good on or about Jan. 17, depending on how quickly merchandise is depleted.

Randy Dakin barely made it home in time for Christmas after his employer, Oklahoma-based Arrow Trucking Company shut down operations, canceled fuel credit cards and left him and 900 other drivers stranded across the U.S. and Canada. The news came Tuesday morning by the most impersonal means: text message.
The first text message told him to turn in his truck at the nearest dealer. The second offered him a bus ticket or $200 in cash to get home.
"The timing is the worst thing and not being told in a better way. I'm sure some guys are having to sell whatever they could," said Dakin to xltx.com.
Many drivers store large amounts of personal belongings in the trucks including clothing, televisions among other items that are extremely difficult to transport back home. "Greyhound will only let you carry so much," says Dakin.
He's also wondering if he'll ever get paid for his last two trips. "That would have been my biggest paycheck ever with these people." He says the company owes him about $1,300.
So how did Randy make it home? "I was fortunate enough to have had enough fuel in the truck to get back home," said Dakin. Home is in Columbia, South Carolina and Randy was in Virginia when he got the messages.
The company's website has been shut down and no one could be reached for comment.
Supporters have set up a Facebook page called "Support for Stranded Arrow Truckers" to help coordinate efforts for their safe return home.
