Labor Day closings Sunday, September 6, 2009 3:28 AM Labor Day closings On Monday: • Mail will not be delivered. • Parking meters in Columbus will be free. • Columbus, county, state and federal offices will be closed. Most municipal and township offices also will be closed.

Columbus Metropolitan Library's Main Library and all branches will be closed.

• There will be no trash collection in Columbus. The trash-color collection schedule will rotate one weekday forward until the next holiday, which is Columbus Day, Oct. 12.

• There will be no Rumpke curbside recycling or yard-waste subscription collection. Collection will move one day forward (Friday will be collected Saturday), then return to its normal day the following week.

• Columbus City Schools and other districts will be closed.

• Columbus State Community College won't hold classes.

• Ohio State University is not in session.
