Recently, "Twitter" was named the Word of the Year by the Global Language Monitor, based on the frequency in use of words and phrases on the Internet and in the media. With over three million users and growing, Twitter is quickly becoming an online meeting place for recruiters and employers to connect with potential job candidates.

In November, the jobs with the highest increase of unique jobs by keyword all were related to the holiday season. The keywords with the highest increase of unique jobs were holiday, truck drivers and retail sales.
Interestingly last month, just as football season was about to start, Football Coach topped the list as most competitive job by keyword. It appears there were a number of football coaches competing last month for a limited amount of coaching positions.
