CENTRAL OHIO—Declining mail volume, fuel costs and the economy led to a national review of postal delivery routes.
Some Central Ohio zip codes were to be affected.

Several Columbus and Dublin post office routes were to be consolidated, which alters delivery times.
Affected offices in Columbus included the 43202 area of Clintonville, 43206 area of German Village, 43209 in Bexley, 43213 in Whitehall, northwest Columbus with the zip code of 43220, 43231 in northeast Columbus and 43232 in the Eastland area.
Marysville and Mount Vernon post offices also were to consolidate deliveries, which alters delivery time or means a new mail carrier.
Changes were to happen as early as next week.
